Great concerts by Gadelle

After a year-long hiatus, the fantastic world-renowned Acadian traditional group Gadelle is back at the Village musical acadien! You'll have the chance to see and hear them all summer long! Fiddler Louise Arsenault and organist-singer Hélène Bergeron are former members of the internationally acclaimed groups Barachois and Les Girls. Singer-guitarist-accordionist Caroline Bernard and multi-instrumentalist Rémi Arsenault have also performed on stages around the world as part of various professional groups. All musicians of vast experience, the members of Gadelle dance and play with joy, conviction and ferocity, leading to a truly extraordinary show! The sound is Acadian, the songs are in French, the banter is bilingual... the spirit of Acadia is alive and well! Their show is well-practiced and ready to energize the crowd. Gadelle plays in La Grange à Ti-Manuel from Tuesday to Friday, from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m starting July 7. and again from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and free for students and children.

 

The 2026 Summer Cabaret: among the best country, rock and folk singers on the Island

The Village musical acadien once again presents some of Prince Edward Island's finest country, rock and folk singers – including finalists and winners of various provincial, Atlantic and national music awards – during its 2025 Summer Cabaret series of musical performances on Friday evenings in July and August, starting at 8 p.m.

The backing band will include guitarist Danny MacNevin, drummer Rodney Arsenault, bassist Rémi Arsenault and fiddler Keelin Wedge
